Before I tell You More About It, Let’s Take a Step Back and Talk About the Real Problem…
There are two main reasons entrepreneurs and small business owners don’t start and finish the books that could grow their business further – and no, it isn’t because they lack the time, although they are very busy:
They honestly have no interest in being an author and writing a book, they’ve just bought into the “should” of being an author.
If this is you, let it go. I give you permission to stop trying to write a book you don’t want to write and go do something else that will grow your business and be better suited to who you are.
They don’t know what to do and get stuck in the myriad details of what they could do, and so they don’t move forward at all.
If this is you, please continue reading, for what I’m about to share will break through the mental clutter and help you get that book off your to-do list and onto your already done list.
Have you heard of Richard Branson? Steve Jobs? Elon Musk?
They are all entrepreneurs who have become celebrities in their industry in part because of books written by or about them.
This is the power of books in business. If you don’t have a book, you very well may be losing business to competitors who do.

Your Book Doesn’t Have to Be a New York Times or USA Today Bestseller
to Increase Your Sales
There are a lot of gurus who are teaching how to get on bestseller lists. And being an Amazon bestseller is pretty nice – I’ve been there twice. But you don’t need that to hook customers and gain business. You just need a book that speaks to your ideal client and positions you as the go-to expert in your business space.
Who am I and why should you listen to me?
My name is Carma Spence, and I am the author of five books, including the award-winning and bestselling Public Speaking Super Powers, and the #1 bestseller Home Sweet Home Page. I have also contributed to several international bestselling books, am an award-winning speaker, and am a Certified StoryWay Guide.
In case you’ve never heard of me **gasp**, here’s why I’m uniquely qualified to tell you everything you have ever wanted to know about writing, publishing, and marketing books:
I have been studying writing, publishing, and marketing books since I can remember
I have more than 25 years of professional experience in marketing and public relations
I hold a master’s degree in public relations
I’m certified in Author Marketing
I’ve helped several new and aspiring authors go from stuck, unclear, and frustrated to energized, focused, and making progress toward their goals in as little as 3 to 6 sessions
I started this business because I saw a gap in the market that I was uniquely qualified to fill. Yes, there are others who can help you with these topics, but not in the same way I can. And rarely can you find someone who can take you on the whole journey, from idea to book to market. You need to leap from one course or book or mentor to another, cobbling together your journey on your own. Not with me, I can be your Obi-Wan the whole way.
Carma is the rare blend of being exceptionally attentive, intuitive and analytical. These qualities enabled her to quickly translate our discussion of my professional work into engaging and authentic content … that beautifully captured the essence of who I am and what I do.
Carma worked her magic in a matter of a few hours. She was able to do what I had been struggling to do alone for months! In addition to saving time and money, it felt as if a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. Carma made figuring out how to say what I wanted to say, an engaging, fun and creative process that sparked more ideas to grow my coaching business.
I can’t recommend Carma highly enough. She is conscientious, trustworthy and highly professional.

To discover if this is a good fit for you (and, frankly, me), book a 30- to 45-minute Book Idea Diagnostic Session today. If at the end of the session, we both feel that this is a good fit for you, I’ll send you a link to book your private V.I.P. experience.
This All Sounds Great But…
Do I have to be a professional writer for this to work?
No. I’ve known authors who wrote good books that had never written before. The beauty of creating the outline first is that it makes the writing much easier. I’ll provide you with templates that will help point you in the right direction. Also, you will — and should — hire an editor to help you polish your manuscript before it goes to print.
When can I start this program?
We can book your private sessions at any time within 60 days of purchase. If you wait any longer, you’ll forget, or “life” will get in the way.
Do I have to schedule my four sessions over two days in a row, back to back?
No. You can book your four sessions on four separate days, and spread over as much as two weeks’ time. Any farther than that and you’ll lose momentum.
What if I don’t have enough time for a four-hour session?
If you can’t block out four hours of time for just two Saturdays over the next six months, now might not be a good time for you to invest in this program. To get the value and the momentum, we really need to block out that much time because this will be a combination of coaching and workshop, learning and doing.
How do I know Book Kickstarter V.I.P. Intensive will work for me?
This is exactly why you must schedule a Book Idea Diagnostic Call with me before I will agree to take your payment. During this diagnostic call, we will dig deep into your book idea, from multiple angles, to make sure that this investment of both time and money is in your best interests.
Carma has an almost uncanny ability to pick up on what’s important and needs focus in a business. …as a coach, there is no unfamiliar terrain for Carma … She does it all with the same level of grace and clarity. I would send any entrepreneur that needs to get re-inspired and laser-focused on their dream to Carma.
I’m not a newbie.
I’ve been writing and publishing books since 2007. In addition, I’ve been a professional writer and editor since the 1980s and have won awards for my work. I’ve written five books available in paperback, hardcover, and e-book formats. I’ve contributed chapters to several others. And I’ve published several e-book-only titles. I know I can guide you through the self-publishing process, as well.
